New Home Sales

The New Home Sales index tracks and measures the number of new single family homes with a committed sale during the month. This metric is reported on a monthly basis by Housing Industry Association.

In May 2017 the indicator increased to 7,450 compared to previous month where it was at 7,369 representing a change of 1.1%. This figure was at its historical lows of 5,186 in Sep 2012 and at its highs of 20,768 in Mar 2001.
