Employment Change

The Employment Change index tracks the change in the number of people that are employment taking into account both full time and part time employment. This metric is reported on a monthly basis by Australian Bureau of Statistics.

In May 2017 the indicator increased to 42,000 from the previous month which was at 37,400 and surpassed the consensus which was at 10,000. This figure was at its historical lows of -74,800 in Nov 1992 and at its highs of 99,500 in Nov 1985.
