Wow, already?! This was our first thought when we realized that this year marks ten years of IQ Option! While we don’t like to make a fuss about ourselves, this is a great opportunity to get a little bit closer to you and reintroduce ourselves. Please join in on our celebration, as it is you who made all of this possible.
How it started
First, let’s remember the beginning of this 10-year journey together. Amazing user experience has always been the main value at the core of the company. We wanted to create a trading platform that was intuitive, convenient, and modern. This was how the idea originated: we wanted to create a solution for those who wanted to trade, but did not want to spend a lot of time figuring out how the platform works. We strived for absolute perfection, and we hope that it shows in every detail of the trade room.
Throughout the years, 8+ million users have registered on the platform. It’s been a long journey, and we have achieved a lot in these 10 years. The trade room used to look quite different from how it is now, and there were a lot fewer tools to choose from. Over time, a major UI update was released, and that is when the platform received its signature look.
How it’s going
Fast forward 10 years, and the platform evolved. Now it is full of useful features, and it caters to any need a trader might have. Here are just some of the achievements that IQ Option made in this time.
Ultimate user experience
Since the beginning, the platform has grown significantly and expanded the number of available assets: now there are over 300 assets to choose from. Many vital elements have been added, like the economic calendar, news, earnings calendar, alerts, and more. This enabled traders to educate themselves, stay on top of the news, and monitor the markets, all within the trade room.
The trade room is now well-equipped with an extensive number of technical analysis tools. The list grew from just ten first indicators to over a hundred. And it doesn’t stop at indicators: there are graphical tools and widgets to choose from as well. Additionally, the “Scripts” tab was introduced for those traders, who prefer to make their own indicators and use them on the platform.
Now every detail of the trade room from the layout to the chart type is meticulously thought out, guaranteeing a smooth and comfortable experience.
Accessibility
Keeping up with the times, we made access to the trade room cross-platform by creating applications for Android and iOS. A large percentage of our traders prefer to access the traderoom through a mobile phone, which is why we made sure that the applications run smoothly, and allow for trading on the go.
The applications are equipped with almost all the features that the browser and web versions have, including graphical tools, indicators, templates, news, alerts, and more.
Internal processes
We have worked intensely on improving our internal processes as well. For example, we switched to a quick withdrawal system, which allows us to process 68% of withdrawal requests immediately. Now, the average time to process a withdrawal request is around 8.5 hours.
Building trust is a major point of focus for us, which is why we invest in having a strong Support team that is available 24/7. Our specialists speak many languages and they are always available in live chats, ready to answer any questions about the platform you might have.
Charity
As we believe every organization must give back to the community, a charitable foundation was a natural step in that direction. The IQ Option Charitable Foundation was created with the mission to benefit the underprivileged around the world.
In 2018, the IQ Option Charitable Foundation, together with Faith Foundation, implemented a project in Rwanda, aimed at helping vulnerable women build strong parenting skills, improve their career prospects and organize positive social and cultural activities. In 2019, the Foundation, together with the Faith Foundation, completed another project aimed at providing access to clean drinking water.
What’s to come
The last 10 years were extremely eventful, and we are immensely proud of our achievements. We are also deeply grateful for our traders, who have put their trust in us and made us the broker of their choice.
