UK Consumer Price Index rose on a monthly basis for May 2017 but was 40% lower compared to previous month’s value. Results were reported at 0.3%, lower than previous month values of 0.5% and beat expectations of 0.2%. Inflation Rate MoM in the United Kingdom peaked at an all-time high point of 3.37% in April of 1991 and hit rock-bottom at -0.94% in January of 2000.
