UK Current Account dropped on a quarterly basis for the month of May 2017 by 39.67% compared with the previous quarter. Results were reported at -£16.9 billion, far from previous quarter’s values of -£12.1 billion and beating expectations of -£17.3 billion. Current Account in the United Kingdom peaked at an all-time high point of £2.66 billion in the first quarter of 1981 and hit rock-bottom at -£26.30 billion in the fourth quarter of 2013.
