Consumer Confidence in the United Kingdom is a measure of optimism that consumers have, reflecting the domestic performance of the economy over the next 12 months. A survey from about 2,000 consumers is obtained by GfK Consumer Confidence. This index takes values from -100 to 100 indicating extreme lack of confidence and extreme confidence, respectively.

UK Consumer Confidence fell by 100% in June 2017 compared with the previous month. Results were reported at -10, falling far from previous months values of -5 and forecasts of -7. Consumer Confidence in the United Kingdom peaked at an all-time high point of 10 in June of 1987 and hit rock-bottom at -39 in July of 2008.
