Unemployment Rate

A report on the number of people that are unemployed and seeking for work. This measure is calculated in percent and it is measured by Eurostat. A lower value reflects on a strong labor market, adding to consumer spending, economic growth and the possibility of a rate hike by central banks.

Swedish Unemployment rate

Swedish Unemployment rate stood still on a monthly basis for June 2017, compared to previous month’s value. Results were reported at 7.2%, same as previous month’s values of 7.2%, but failed to beat expectations of 7.1%. Unemployment Rate in Swedenpeaked at an all-time high point of10.50% in June of 1997and hit rock-bottom at1.30% in July of 1989.
