Producer Prices Change

Producer’s Price Index is an average of change in the prices that were sold to producers in order to provide products on services to consumers. The index is calculated by the National Statistics Institute (INE), Spain. A high value means a rise in prices of goods that tends to raise inflation values as measured by the Consumer Price Index.

Spanish producer price Index increased by 5.3% for May 2017 compared to previous month’s value. Results were reported at 5.3%, which is lower than the previous month’s value of 5.9%. Producer Prices Change in Spainpeaked at an all-time high point of24.60% in December of 1977and hit rock-bottom at-6.70% in July of 2009.
