Foreign Exchange Reserves are money or other assets that are held by the central bank or other monetary authority in order for liabilities to be paid. This measure is calculated by the Central Bank of Russia.

Russian Foreign Exchange Reserves increased on a monthly basis by 16.07%, compared to previous month’s values. Results were reported at $412.24 billion, rising from previous month’s value of $405.72 billion Foreign Exchange Reserves in Russiapeaked at an all-time high point of$596.57 billion in July of 2008and hit rock-bottom at$4.53 billion in December of 1992.
