Japan Producer Prices

The Japanese Producer Prices index tracks the average price change in the prices of goods and services that are sold wholesale by manufacturers and producers in a given month versus the same month a year ago. The statistic is published monthly by the Bank of Japan.

In June 2017, the index remained flat at 98.4 versus the same month the previous year. Historically the index hit an all-time high of 112.5 in September of 1980 and an all-time low of 47.4 in June of 1962.
