Manufacturing PMI

Manufacturing Purchase Manager’s Index records business conditions in the manufacturing sector, which accounts for the overall economic sector. This indicator is measured by Norwegian Association of Purchasing and Logistics. A value above 50.0 indicates industry expansion and below indicates contraction.

 Norwegian Manufacturing PMI

Norwegian Manufacturing PMI grew on a monthly basis for June 2017 by 1.66% compared with previous month’s value. Results were reported at 55.1 Index Points, rising from previous month’s value of 54.2 Index Points and beat expectations of 54.7 Index Points. Manufacturing PMI in Norway peaked at an all-time high point of 64.40 in November of 2006and hit rock-bottom at34.90 in February of 2009.
