Industrial Production

A measure of output of the industrial sector of the economy. Norway industrial production is calculated by Statistics Norway. It measures the amount of output from the manufacturing, mining, electric and gas industries. A rise in industrial production reflects positive on growth statistics as they reflect on consumer spending and exports.

 Norwegian Industrial Production

Norwegian Industrial Production decelerated on a yearly basis for May 2017 by 44.44% compared with previous month’s value. Results were reported at 0.5%, sliding from previous month’s value of 0.9%. Industrial Production in Norwaypeaked at an all-time high point of15.40% in June of 1994and hit rock-bottom at-13.10% in August of 2010.
