Industrial Production MoM

A measure of output of the industrial sector of the economy. This measure is calculated month-by-month by Statistics Norway It measures the amount of output from the manufacturing, mining, electric and gas industries. A rise in industrial production reflects positive on growth statistics as they reflect on consumer spending and exports.

Norwegian Industrial Production

Norwegian Industrial Production decreased on a monthly basis for May 2017 by 217% compared with previous month’s value. Results were reported at -0.7%, falling from previous month’s positive 0.6% value. Industrial Production Mom in Norwaypeaked at an all-time high point of12.30% in September of 1991and hit rock-bottom at-9.30% in March of 2002.
