A monetary based measurement of the difference between exports and imports. New Zealand balance of trade is measured by Statistics New Zealand. Exports surpassing imports means a surplus and is healthy for the economy.

 New Zealand’s Trade Balance

New Zealand’s Trade Balance dropped by 80.78% on a monthly basis for June 2017 compared to previous month’s value. Results were reported at NZD103 million, decline from previous month’s values of NZD 536M. Balance of Trade in Norwaypeaked at an all-time high point ofNZD 1157 million in April of 2011and hit rock-bottom at NZD -1388 million in September of 2016.
