Inflation measures the pricing levels in goods and services. The country’s Inflation measure is estimated on a monthly basis by the National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT). Inflation happens when prices rise, whereas purchasing value falls, put simpler, when too much money is chasing tooa few products.

Italian Inflation Rate MoM

Italian Consumer Price Index stagnated on a monthly basis for the month of June 2017 remaining unchanged from previous month’s value. Results were reported at -0.1%, the same as previous month’s values of -0.1% and met expectations of -0.1%. Inflation Rate MoM in Italypeaked at an all-time high point ofhigh of 3.50% in January of 1980and hit rock-bottom at-2.40% in November of 1958.
