Factory Orders

A report on the change in the total value of new purchase orders placed by manufacturers regarding new factory orders for both durable and non-durable goods. This measure is estimated by the National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT). Above 0 indicates increasing order volume is expected, below indicates expectations are for lower volume.

 Italian Industrial New Orders

Italian Industrial New Orders increased on a monthly basis for the month of April 2017 by 83.72% compared with the previous month. Results were reported at -0.7%, surpassing previous month’s values of -4.3% Factory Orders in Italypeaked at an all-time high point of14.40% in August of 1994and hit rock-bottom at-12.60% in November of 2008.
