Industrial Production

The Industrial Production index tracks the output level from the industrial segment like manufacturing, utilities etc. This figure is calculated on a year-over-year basis. This metric is reported on a monthly basis by Eurostat.

Euro Area Industrial Production

In May 2017 the indicator increased to 4% from 1.2% the previous month representing a change of 233%. The figure also surpassed the consensus by 11%.This figure was at its historical lows of -21.5% in 2009 and at its highs of 9.2% in 2010.
