Imports are the goods and services that are purchased by citizens of one country that were produced in another country abroad. This metric is reported on a monthly basis by Australian Bureau of Statistics.

In May 2017 the indicator increased at 1% from the previous month which was at AUD29.77 billion. This figure was at its historical lows of AUD0.39billion in May 1972 and at its highs of AUD30.33billion in Sep 2015.
