Inflation Rate MoM

The German Inflation Rate or consumer price index (CPI) is tracking the price changes of a basket of goods and services that households purchase. The number is calculated monthly versus the previous month with a specific year selected as a base. The index is published monthly by the Federal Statistics Office.

In June 2017, inflation rose by 0.2% versus May, in line with the consensus estimates of 0.2%. Historically inflation rose the most by 2.65% in October 1951 and fell the most by -2.73% in January 1950.
