Harmonised Consumer Prices

The German Harmonized Consumer Price index is tracked by Eurostar and the national statistic institutes. The index indicates the level of inflation and volatility and is a useful measure monitored by the European Central Bank.

In June 2017, the index remained flat at 101.8 points versus the previous month, in-line with consensus estimates.  Historically the index reached an all-time high of 101.80 in December 2016 and an all-time low of 75.5 January 1996.
