The Japanese Economy Watchers Survey covers a sample population of about 2,050 workers and tracks the sentiment of sensitive to economic trends businesses such as employment, household activity and corporate activity. A level above 50 indicates optimists whereas in the opposite scenario indicates pessimism. The statistic is published by the Japanese Cabinet Office every month.
