Currency

Canadian Dollar is the official currency of Canada. It is the fifth largest reserve currency in the world following the US Dollar, Euro, Pound Sterling and the Yen. It is mostly used in pair with USD. The first banknotes were issued in 1841 by the Montreal Bank. The Canadian Dollar has peaked at 1.61 in January of 2002 and recorded a record low of 0.92 in November of 2007 against the US dollar.
